For the fifth year, paddlers will complete Ohio River Way Challenge, an extraordinary expedition in 30-foot voyager canoes. The dates are being finalized for May 2025. Please reach out to challenge@ohioriverway.org if you’re interested in engaging with the challenge.

This annual paddle has two main goals:

To stop in river towns and connect with leaders and community members to share our enthusiasm for the river and to celebrate their work promoting river-based recreation and tourism.
To document and raise awareness for the river’s recreational, historical, and ecological assets.

Each evening, our team will eat at a local eatery and camp for the night. Each morning, we will meet before dawn ready to paddle around 25 miles for up to 12 hours.
