Join us at Coney Island this year
This year's 2008 Ohio River Way Paddlefest event takes place at its new location, Coney Island Park. Due to the tremendous growth of Paddlefest, organizers decided that 2008 was the year to make the move and partner with Coney Island to put together an even more successful and exciting event.
The Ohio River Way Paddlefest is the largest on-water paddling festival in the Midwest. Paddlefest draws participants from a multi-state area. In 2007, approximately 1,500 people came to participate and paddle down the Ohio to celebrate the river and to help raise funds to promote the Ohio River Water Trail. Over 2,000 people attended the Friday night Music & Outdoor Festival at Four Seasons Marina in 2007 and over 1,800 attended the Finish Line Festival at Cincinnati's Serpentine Wall.
Exhibit and presenter spaces are available for non-profit organizations and governmental entities at the Kid's Ex-Stream Paddlefest Expo. Exhibit space is available for commercial vendors and non-profits at the Ohio River Music & Outdoor Festival and at the Finish Line Festival on Saturday. These events attract a diverse crowd of outdoor enthusiasts and music lovers. Attendance at these events is free and open to all registered paddlers as well as the general public.
